Take the Growth mindset quiz test now.
To achieve great success in life, it is essential to identify the type of mindset you currently possess. Your mindset is the invisible force that determines your ceiling in the pursuit of achievement in any field.
What are the types of mindset in us?
There are two types of mindsets: a growth mindset and a fixed mindset
Growth Mindset is the belief that abilities, intelligence, and talents can be developed over time through effort, learning, and persistence, while a fixed Mindset is the belief that abilities, intelligence, and talents are innate and unchangeable traits—you either have them or you don’t.
Having a growth mindset is essential for success. If you possess a growth mindset, you are on the right path and moving towards your goal successfully.
To help you out a quiz with 10 questions has been prepared in this growth mindset quiz, which has been adapted from the famous book “Mindset: The New Psychology of Success” by Dr. Carol Dweck.
Answer all 10 questions based on how strongly you agree or disagree with the statement given. Towards the end, the type of mindset that you possess right now will be displayed.
How many questions are there in the test and how are the results computed?
There are 10 questions in the growth mindset quiz test. The maximum score for the test is 30. For each question, if your answer is best suited for the growth mindset, then a maximum of 3 marks is given, and then the marks are reduced as you move away from the growth mindset. The Likert scale is used in this test.
What is the type of Mindset that you possess based on the score?
1. If your score is between 22 to 30: You have a very strong Growth Mindset
It means you believe in your power to grow. You are very open to challenges and embrace feedback. You understand that effort leads to mastery.
Keep nurturing this mindset. This mindset is the secret of lifelong achievers!
2. If your score is between 17 to 21: You have a Growth Mindset with some fixed ideas
You are moving in the right direction. You show growth tendencies but might hesitate when faced with difficulty or failure. With a little awareness and consistent effort, you can fully shift into a growth zone again.
3. If your score is between 11 to 16: You have a Fixed Mindset with some growth ideas
You often doubt your potential. There is some belief in growth, but old patterns or fear of failure may be holding you back.
Don’t worry. Mindsets are malleable and changeable. Start small, challenge your beliefs, and you will see transformation.
4. If your score is between 0 to 10: You have a strong Fixed Mindset
You may be stuck in limiting beliefs. You might believe that talent is fixed and effort won’t change much. But that is not true. Science shows the brain can rewire itself at any age. It is never too late to grow.
